because first of all, you won't have nothing forever.

I'm not sure where the notion that "something is better than nothing" came from.
I loathe it.
To me, it subtly suggests settling is ok and quietly institutionalizes a deep seeded fear of absence.
but, like.
I fully and wholly reject that!
Just because it is offered doesn't mean you have to accept it.
It is very ok to have nothing.
Just because it's free doesn't mean you should take it.
Don't enlist in something because it kind of sort of works.
Just because the phone rings doesn't mean you have to pick it up.
like, literally tho...
Just because someone knocks on the door doesn't mean you have to answer it.
be careful of who you allow walk through your energy; don't be a dick about it.
it's your life.
Live it your way.

... You won't have nothing forever... And when you really think about it you never really have NOTHING. If you actually take notice you will always have something.
ReplyDeleteBut on the other hand, I get what you mean, and the sentiment remains... You won't have nothing forever.
